History • 1877 – Founded in the village Taarup just outside Kerteminde. • 1915 – The company moves to Kerteminde. • 1948 – Production of tractor ploughs. • 1957 – Start of production of forage harvesters. • 1960 – Disc mowers & drying plants are developed. • 1974 – First to introduce a disc mower/tine conditioner combination. • 1984 – Invention of the Taarup BX-belt. • 1993 – Maskinfabrikken Taarup is taken over by Kverneland ASA. • 2006 – Kverneland Group Kerteminde takes over production disc mowers in Vicon & Deutz-Fahr brands. • 2009 – Aquisition of Veenhuis loader and transport wagon division • 2010 – Introduction of the EXPERT drum mower range • 2010 – Strategic ownership in Gallignani s. p. a.

Facts & Figures • Kverneland Group Kerteminde has over 130 years of experience in manufacturing farm implements. • Production of appr. 8000 machines a year at the Kerteminde factory. • In addition appr. 3000 units are outsourced to sub-suppliers. • 2009 turnover of 61 mln EUR. • Appr. 210 employees. • 50.000 m2 roofed production surface.
