  9. Course Grading • Homework Assignments 15% • Exam 1 25% • Exam 2 35% • Lab Assignments 25% • A score must be registered in all 4 areas to receive a passing grade.

  10. Homework Assignments • One homework assignment per chapter. • All assignments due in class on the stated day. • All work must be your own.

  11. Exams • Exam 1: February 10th [50 Minutes] • Exam 2: March 3rd (Wednesday) [100 Minutes] • Both exams are in class and are open book, open notes. • Exam 1 covers material from chapters 1-3. • Exam 2 covers all chapters 1-5.

  12. Face to Face Meeting • Each student is required as part of the course to attend a face to face with me to discuss their progress in the course • Meeting will take place shortly after the midterm exam, once the results are available. • Meeting usually lasts no more than 5 minutes.

  14. Submitting Assignments • Assignments (homework and lab reports) must be placed in the box during the appropriate class. • OR submitted to me in person prior to the deadline. • The TA’s will NOT accept any assignments.
