  3. Prioritization of Key Organizational Work – What was the Process? SLT has been reviewing current and future work that has a broad organizational impact Last September, leadership agreed to the processes and recommendations from the Priority Setting Committee Priority Setting Committee presented their recommendations on the rank order of year 1 strategic work and clinical priorities to SLT in November

  5. Key Organizational Work – What was the Decision? Based on the capacity of clinical programs and corporate support areas, SLT determined which work the organization will mobilize resources to complete. Other/new work on hold until there is capacity in the organization “List” of organizational work not set in stone – there will be the need to be flexible and adaptable as the external environment changes

  6. What is the Externally Mandated Work? Accreditation Eating Disorders Re-design Implementation of BCNU contract (37.5 work week) Implementation of the ED Mental Health Addictions External Review Cardiac – transfer of cases to Kelowna and adjustments to new run rates HIM Transcription Follow up on outcomes of Cochrane Report

Work on Hold Continue planning for Integrated Treatment Unit Expansion of Family Activated Response Team (beyond the pilot as part of Care Experience) Develop a Corporate Clinical Plan Identify future partnership opportunities with VCH to provide services to DTES and increase residential bed numbers

  14. Next Steps in Deployment of Providence Plan: Programs/Department/Services Alignment - Conversations with leaders: What does this mean for our program?What will we be focused on? Acknowledge that the work will vary for different programs/departments Implementation plan for strategic work Confirm metrics for each of the strategic aims and finalize monitoring and evaluation framework Continue to share the Providence Plan across the organization and develop tools to help leaders communicate this plan.
