  1. Project Trade WHO? What? When? WHERE? Why?

  2. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? • Participants may be any CTC Teacher (Career Tech or Academic) or a CTPD Career Technical Instructor from one of our partner districts.

  3. WHAT IS PROJECT TRADE? • Federal grant funds pay a daily stipend of $125 for you to update your skills by job shadowing in business and industry.

  4. WHEN IS PROJECT TRADE? • Apply in July/August of the current school year. • Days are scheduled outside of school days (ex. mini breaks, weekends, after school, etc.) from July 22, 2013, to April 1, 2014 • Complete the Job Shadowing and portfolio by April 1 of the school year.

  5. WHERE? • You can decide—where would you like to go to gain valuable information for you and your students? • You can go to more than one place/business.

  6. WHY DO PROJECT TRADE? WHY?
