  7. What is OnTask? • OnTask is a learning analytics-based application that collates information about students engagement and activity or any other measurable from learnonline.

  8. What is OnTask? • The platform allows instructors to develop “if-then” rules to generate personalised messages to all students in their course.

Learning analytics’ benefits • Engagement • Gamification  • Familiarity (BYOD) • Genuinely student-centred • Inclusion  • Instructor can track progress • Evidence-based practice  • The multimedia style of the lecture is a fun and interesting way to learn. • The content and presentation of the course were highly engaging and often fascinating.  • MyCourseExperience 2018
