  2. Mostly forested and mountainous, Tak is a northern province peacefully situated on the Maenam Ping basin. The province covers an area of 16,406 square kilometers and is 426 kilometers north of Bangkok. As Tak shares natural border with Myanmar, it is highly regarded as a western gateway to Myanmar, and a northern doorway to Thailand's major cities such as Lampang and Chiang Mai.

The tourist can go to there by rafting or walking and coach.  On the way to the destination, we can see a group of  small Karen’s communities and their lifestyles. When rafting to the Thi Lo Su, tourists can see a diversity of wildlife and appreciate a good atmosphere. There are a lot of beautiful natural resources which can encourage tourists to become more relaxing and comfortable. The tourists can stay at the resort or camping around the waterfall or at the East ThungYaiNaresuan Wildlife Sanctuary where you can study nature along its forest trails and watch wild animals at night. Rainy season is the most beautiful waterfalls, high season and difficulties to travel for many tourists. The tourist which would like to go there should tell in advance to local travel agencies. The transportation can takes only rafting and then walk to the waterfall.
