Analyzing Woodrow Wilson STAAR Data: Strategies for Addressing Learning Gaps in Grades 3-5

This report examines the STAAR data from Woodrow Wilson for the 2011-2012 school year, focusing on reading, math, and science performance among third, fourth, and fifth graders. It highlights the efforts of part-time coaching added by the district to close the learning gap between teachers and students. The analysis includes more than 100 documented walkthroughs, an in-depth study of TEKS, and the implementation of targeted investigations. Additionally, summer Saturday school programs for native Spanish speakers are discussed, alongside our responses to scores released in August.
