  2. Directions for Popcorn Writing Activity Directions: 1. Print slides from PowerPoint on paper or white cardstock. 2. Cut out picture symbols from slides 16 – 19. 3. Laminate and Velcro® pictures and slide pages to reuse activity. 4. Students can then match to sample the picture symbols to pages with print. Or: 1. Print slides from PowerPoint on white cardstock. 2. Laminate and Velcro® slide pages to reuse activity. 3. Attach tactile symbols to slides and make matching set of tactile symbols for matching activities.

  3. We love to eat popcorn.

  4. We make popcorn for snack.

  5. We put popcorn in the microwave to cook.

  6. We listen to the popcorn pop.

  7. The popcorn smells good.

  8. When the popping stops, the popcorn is finished cooking.

  9. The popcorn is hot, be careful.
