  5. Jungle • Whilstwatching the ‘Jungle’ documentarymake notes on how unique the tropical rainforestisand how it has adapted to itsclimate.

  6. Look carefullyat the colour copy of page 115. Answer the following questions: • Whereis water stored in the TRF? • How does the canopyprotect the soilfromerosion? • How does the forestprovide a steadysupply of water for local people?

  7. PLENARY: On a post-it note write down THREE unique features of the tropical rainforest.
