  4. Evolution • The attacks of September 11th, 2001 were the catalyst for… • Increased collaboration between WF/RS and WPD • Increased collaboration between WF/RS and other City of Wilson Departments

Evaluation… • Resulting in: • Identification of CRITICAL FACILITIES based on input from all city departments • Assessment of those facilities based on basic characteristics • Development of facility protection plans Utilities ITS (GIS) Public Safety Public Works Development Services Parks & Rec

  6. Critical Facility Identification Identification Based on: • Cultural Significance • Public Assembly • Criticality to City Operations • Economic Significance • Technological Hazards
