  2. Physical Analysis- Color/clarityphysical properties include color and clarity. Urine color is from colorless to anycolor, and the clarity is from clear to turbid.

  3. Chemical Analysis- Reagent Strip Method the chemical examination strip method supplies are : well mixed urine, multistix test strips, color chart, and timer. When you are comparing the test strip with the color chart make sure you hold horizontal and line up the strip with the color chart.

  4. Chemical Analysis- Acetestacetest is a confirmatory test for positive or questionable dipstick ketone results.

  5. Chemical Analysis- Clinitestclinitest is performed on children younger then two year to check for non glucose reducing substances.

  6. Microscopic Exam microscopic examination of urine sediment is the final component of a urinalysis. This portion allows the laboratorian to detect and identify formed elements in the urine.

  7. Microscopic Exam • Calcium Oxalate Crystal is a colorless normal crystal which is shaped like an envelop, and it is found in urine with an acidic and neutral PH. • Magnification • 400x • Significance • Finding calcium oxalate in a fresh urine is related to the formation of renal calculi. Renal calculi are composed of calcium oxalate in which is associate with foods high in oxalic acid.
