Overview • Access through my.NMSU.edu account • Collaborate with committees, departments, offices, classes • Anyone with my.NMSU.edu account can request a group • Private or Public Groups, Available 24/7 • Must have my.NMSU.edu account to participate in any group • Private groups by invitation only; Public available to anyone with my.NMSU.edu account

  3. What Tools Are Available? • Announcements • Links • Documents (1 MB max) • Images (1 MB max) • Message Board • Calendar • Email to Group Members • Online Chat

  4. Requesting a Group • Login to my.NMSU.edu • Click > Groups (HELP handout) • Complete requested information (HELP handout) • Receive confirmation in approximately one week via email from Susan Waldo • If needed sooner, contact me and I will follow-up for you

  5. Role of Administrator • Requests group and determines privileges • Group name, public/private, searchable • Determines which tools are available • Manage group members • Invite/Delete members • Assign member’s access level

  6. Role of Administrator • Member’s access level • Ability to set different access level for each member • Post with or without administrator approval • Must check postings waiting for approval
