  2. A Day at the races: The Kentucky derby

  3. Kentucky Derby etiquette Rules • The class will be split into 6 teams. Each team will get their own horse. • Teams will start with problem #1 and work their way down to problem #15. Every time a team can prove that every member of the team has completed and understands a problem, their horse will advance one spot. • Winners will earn the chance at a delicious prize. • Each team needs to make sure everyone can answer correctly! The team with the best work can move forward an extra spot!

When your entire group understands the problems and thinks they have the correct answer, have Ms. Pobuda check your work. • If Ms. Pobuda is currently checking another group, start working on the next group of problems.
