  2. Who are the older drinkers • The early onset drinker or survivor; • Late onset drinkers or reactors; • Intermittent or binge drinkers.

  3. Evidence • More older people are reporting drinking at increasing risk levels; • Increasing risk means more than recommended guidelines; • Increasing risk leads to higher risk of high blood pressure, liver problems, some cancers, falls, accidents, cognitive impairment.

  4. Why highlight? • Maintaining healthy lifestyles for older people; • Quality of life issues; • Older drinkers may become vulnerable.
