Data dissemination • Data are disseminated via paper or in electronic format • Paper format: • OECD countries (no Switzerland and Iceland) + Hong Kong • Main categories of services (Total, Transportation, Travel, Other Commercial Services, Government) • 81 partners • Electronic format: • OECD countries (no Switzerland and Iceland) + Hong Kong + Brazil + Russian Federation • All EBOPS items + Memorandum item • 276 partners
Data collection • EU countries: Eurostat provides data to OECD • Other member countries + Hong Kong + Germany: OECD collects information sending an Excel questionnaire covering all the EBOPS items plus the memorandum items. • Brazil + Russian Federation: National sources
Progress in the database • Since 2007 a rolling update has been implemented on the TISP database to improve the timeliness of the electronic publication • This year the electronic database will be expanded to include Brazil
Next questionnaire will be sent in December • Do the tables correctly reflect the availability of trade in services by partner country? • Are any countries planning to report Partner country data in the near future? • Are there any other comments or suggestions on the TISP data collection and dissemination process?
