  1. Summer Term 2014Year 2 Home Learningto be returned on 7th July 2014 HOME LEARNING The presentations of last half terms home learning were wonderful. After discussing with the children they have decided that they would like to have similar home learning for this term. As this first half term is so short, we have decided to set the project for the full term but would therefore expect the projects to reflect the longer amount of time avaiilable. This term our theme is Africa. Suggestions for home learning include: • African animals • Focusing on a particular African country • What it is like to live in Africa • African artwork/dance/music • Comparing life in Africa with life in Britain The children can present their learning in any way that they choose i.e. powerpoint, booklet, leaflet, poster, model, in their pink book etc. If you require additional paper please ask. • REMEMBER • Maths Home Learning to be completed and in school every Friday for marking. • Weekly spelling test on Friday. • Read regularly ready to quiz in school. When completing Home Learning in the pink books please ensure children use both sides of the paper and only use writing pencil.
