What we have learned • Working together creates a cohesive learning community. • Collaboration across grade levels is highly effective and enjoyable. • The ideas generated are increased exponentially through collaboration. • The Parents as Partners Initiative has already increased parent involvement. • A common language across the Coronado Learning Community is developing among stakeholders. • There are more similarities than differences among our schools.

  4. Next steps • Create a common calendar for the CLC. • Each site will have a presence in the Coronado Explorer. • Increase student articulation opportunities to strengthen our transition plan. • Plan one mega event for CLC. • Cross community events for parent opportunities based on parent survey results.

  5. Parents are the heart of the Coronado Learning Community
