National Area of Responsibility • Lead: Peter Kunszt, CSCS • Backup: Christoph Witzig, SWITCH • Relations and support of SwiNG within Switzerland • Assuring that SwiNG is adequately represented within Switzerland towards relevant bodies and funding agencies • Establishing of national contacts (with Universities, funding agencies, politicians, etc.), also via SwiNG Assembly and Scientific Council • Lobbying for SwiNG • Fund raising and organization of proposals for funding • National dissemination activities for SwiNG (distribution of dissemination material, presence at relevant venues, etc.)

International Area of Responsibility • Lead: Heinz Stockinger, SIB • Backup: Wibke Sudholt, UZH • European and worldwide relations of SwiNG • Assuring that SwiNG is adequately represented in international activities (events, meetings, conferences, etc.) • International dissemination activities for SwiNG (e.g., flyer distribution, workshop or booth setup), making SwiNG known internationally • Support of international projects in SwiNG (e.g., EU projects) • Establishment of international contacts • Interface to European and worldwide initiatives and projects relevant to SwiNG (e-IRG, other EU NGIs, standardization bodies, etc.)

Finance & Legal Area of Responsibility • Lead: Christoph Witzig, SWITCH • Backup: Peter Kunszt, CSCS • Formal and money-related aspects of SwiNG • Planning and control of the SwiNG budget • Handling of financial issues (bank account, receipts, bills, membership fee, etc.) • Organization and assignment of resources (e.g., alternative offers for purchases) • Legal issues (statutes, by-laws, trade register entry, etc.) and communication with our lawyer

Interior Areas of Responsibility • Lead: Wibke Sudholt, UZH • Backup: Nabil Abdennadher, HES-SO • Internal organization, coordination, and management of SwiNG • Coordination of the SwiNG Working Group activities and projects • EB interface to the SwiNG Assembly and Scientific Council and their chairs • Organization of SwiNG meetings • SwiNG internal communications • Management of the SwiNG reporting activities (status reports, etc.)

Outreach Area of Responsibility • Lead: Nabil Abdennadher, HES-SO • Backup: Heinz Stockinger, SIB • Dissemination and outreach material and organization of SwiNG • Coordination of the SwiNG education activities (e.g., presentations, lectures, tutorials) • Organization of documentation about SwiNG (e.g., manuals, white papers, publications) • Preparation of dissemination and education material (logo, flyers, posters, slides, booth, etc.) • Web presence and editing of the web page contents • Press releases • Contacts with industry
