SHOPKEEP POS • The Problem • Poor conversions • Merchant Referrals – key for viral growth • Info Requests – an important step of nurturing potential leads • No guidance on design • Richard used marketing automation system Pardot to build forms but didn’t know how to make them more effective • Used Optimizelyto test other parts of the site but didn’t know what he should be testing with the forms • Limited access to R&D • Main concern was developer time with R&D focused on improving the core POS system • About ShopKeep • Shopkeep POS is an iPad/iPhone Point-of-Sale company based in NY, New York founded in late 2008 • Website has an overall traffic ranking of 128k on Alexa • Richard Berger, Marketing Manager, was in charge of the website and other digital marketing efforts
