  1. Blast off to space!!! By Will, Paige, Emily B and Caitlin

  2. Space links page Dangerous Things In Space The 2 Hot Planets The 2 Giants The Moon The 2 Cold Planets Day And Night The Red Planet What Are Constellations? Our Planet The Sun Gods of Planets

  3. The Red Planet You all know that Mars is red but it is also known as the Red planet. Every planet has a sign. This is the sign of Mars It is similar to Uranus’s sign but it is a bit different. Mars has 2 moons which is not very much. Did you know that Mars’s moons are actually meteors? Mars’s gravity pulled them in to make the meteors Mars’s moons. Mars is the 4th planet from the Sun and it’s neighbors are Earth and Jupiter.

  4. The Sun The Sun isn't a planet it’s a star. The Sun is made up of gas it is so hot that if anything went near it would blow up. Did you know that there is something bigger than the Sun? The red giant is way bigger than the Sun. The Sun also has rivers of larva. Know one has ever set foot on the Sun it is impossible to land on it. The Sun’s surface

  5. The 2 Hot Planets Mercury and Venus are the 2 hottest planets Venus is hotter than Mercury because Venus has thick clouds to keep the Suns heat in which makes Venus’s surface extremely hot. This is Venus’s sign And this is Mercury’s sign Mercury is the smallest planet in the solar system(Not including Pluto)It takes 88 days to orbit the Sun. And Mercury has no moons. Venus takes 224.7 Earth days to go around the Sun and Venus has no moons.

  6. The Moon The phases of the Moon

  7. Day and night Day time is bright and night is dark. Sometimes You can see the moon in the daytime. Did you know that stars are in the sky at daytime but you just cant see them, it’s too bright at daytime.

  8. The 2 Giants The biggest planets are Saturn and Jupiter. Saturn is most remembered for its rings. Did you know that Saturn’s rings aren't solid? There made up of millions of fragments that are Ice and rock. Saturn's sign is this And this is Jupiter's Jupiter is really big and it also has a big red spot which is a giant storm. It takes 4,330.6 Earth days to go around the Sun.Jupiter has 63 known moons and Saturn has 31 known moons. Did you know Saturn is light enough to float on water? And Jupiter has rings too.

  9. The 2 Cold Planets The cold planets are Uranus and Neptune. Neptune also has rings like Saturn and Jupiter but Uranus also has rings these planets all have rings because they all gas giants. Did you know Neptune and Jupiter are the only planets with storms Neptune has 2 and Jupiter has 1. Neptune has 13 moons it’s largest is Triton. Uranus has 27 moons and it is the 7th planet from the Sun. Uranus has a temperature of -214 so any water that is on Uranus would be frozen. Did you know that Neptune’s gravity pulls Uranus close to Neptune? Neptune's sign Uranus’s sign

  10. What Are Constellations? Constellations are a group of stars that make a picture. Sometimes you can’t see the picture because first you have to join the stars up, then the picture appears in your head. There are heaps of constellations, here are some of them: Aries – Ram Orion – The Hunter Capricorn - Goat Leo - Lion Cygnus – Swan Aquarius - Fish

  11. Our Planet Our Planet Earth is the only planet with life form as far as we know. The land is surrounded by sea and we have very different languages, cultures, countries and different types of food. We also have nature that helps us survive. We are the third planet from the Sun. Did you know that in 22 million years Earth will become to close to the Sun and explode.

  12. Gods of Planets Each planet has a God in ancient times. The planets were named after these Gods: *Mercury – The winged messenger *Venus – The goddess of beauty *Mars – The god of war *Jupiter – The ruler of the gods *Saturn – Was once the ruler of the gods *Uranus – God of the sky *Neptune – God of the sea

  13. Dangerous Things In Space We have many dangerous things in space like: *Meteors are a ball of rock that can travel very fast. Once it gets to close to an object it falls diagonally very quickly and forms a substance around it and crashes and is invincible. *Space is a huge thing but there is one thing in particular that can kill you – No oxygen. You need oxygen to breathe and there is none in space. There are much more things in space that are much, much more dangerous.
