The Global Public Health Prize, established in 2012, worth $1000, is awarded to the student with the highest marks in POPHLTH 715 (Global Public Health). Additionally, the student must have completed either POPHLTH 752 (Case Studies in Global Health) or another approved postgraduate course in Public Health. The recipient is chosen yearly by the Associate Dean of Research of the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences in collaboration with a faculty member from the Department of Social and Community Health.

Global Public Health Prize From 2012 there is a Global Public Health Prize of $1000 for the student who has obtained the highest overall marks in POPHLTH 715 (Global Public Health) and either POPHLTH 752 (Case Studies in Global Health) or one other postgraduate course in Public Health as determined each year by the Associate Dean of Research of the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences in consultation with one academic staff member of the Department of Social and Community Health.
