  2. B1004E Compressor Building is Now C-AD’s Only ODH-1 Posted Building • You need ODH-1 training and current ODH -1 physical to enter • You must wear a calibrated Portable Oxygen Monitor (POM) to enter the building • You must first open the door and hold the POM at arm’s length at the building door to verify that the oxygen concentration in the building is safe • You DO NOT need an escape pack to enter, only the POM - it takes no more than ~15 seconds to exit the building (it is small) if your POM alarms • There are always 2 escape packs in the building mounted and labelled on the wall for use if needed • The building is keyed with a lock and only Cryo has the key • This will help ensure that all non-cryo entrants are fully familiar with the entry requirements and with the ODH hazards in this new building

  3. Snow Clearing • We give BNL a plan for snow removal priorities at the C-A complex, which they will follow but unexpected problems occur • Please call MCR (4662) if you need an area cleaned of snow for machine or experiment access • You may spread ice melt for your own safety if you can't wait for the custodians or none are available to help
