Types of Outcome Maintaining quality of life e.g. Achieving and maintaining acceptable levels of safety, social contact Time limited change e.g. Improving confidence and regaining skills Process outcomes - impact of service process e.g. Service users feeling valued and respected, listened to
Scottish Government The expectation of the Scottish Government is that we will make Self Directed Support happen. ‘Available to all, imposed on none’.
Self Directed Support Our approach in Fife is to learn by doing. We will find creative solutions together, share them, evaluate differences from the perspective of the individual, the family, social work staff and staff from partner organisations.
