  4. Step 3 • Simplify Ex: 8/9 x 5/4 2/9 x 5/1

  5. Step4 • Multiply Ex: 2/9 x 5/1 = 10/9

  6. Step 5 • Change improper fraction to a mixed number. Ex: 10/9 = 1 1/9
