  17. Information Classification: UTI AMC - Confidential Portfolio Commentary Financial Services: The Fund is overweight in private sector banks and underweight in public sector banks. The Fund remains confident of the liability franchise of large private banks as well as asset quality on a relative basis. The Fund has added weight in the sector as valuations have become attractive. Automobile: The Auto sector, after going through a downturn for the last 3-4 years, is showing signs of recovery. Commodities have also seen correction in the past few months, giving good visibility on margin recovery. The Fund continues to remain positive on the sector and added to its portfolio the largest CV player who has also taken lead in EV in passenger vehicles. Consumer (FMCG/ Durables/ Services): The Fund is overweight in Consumer Durables and Consumer Services. The Fund is positive on domestic consumption over the medium to long term, given low penetration levels and rising per capital income. It has added weight across FMCG, Durables, Services in companies which have seen moderation in valuations. Capital Goods: The sector is expected to do well post muted growth over the last many years with the Government focusing on increasing manufacturing multiple PLI schemes. The Fund increased weight to company with presence in clean energy and defense post sharp stock price correction. in India with IT: The sector witnessed a strong growth post Covid as companies are investing However, the sector has seen sharp correction in the last quarter due to US Fed rate hikes impacting valuation multiples and risks of slowdown in US and Europe.
