  1. (NEW POWER OF INDIA) Justice …equality…transparency Mission 543Concept note

  2. Our inspiration

  3. Fight against corruption united India without any dispute..

  4. Lokpal Bill is in process …. • Is it enough?

  5. We further need multiple reforms • Electoral • Judicial/ police • Economical • Beaurocratic • Educational • Health • Social and cultural • Agricultural and water management Right to recall…and many others….

  6. How many fights more with-Fasting unto death-Dharna-Satyagrah-Is There….Any other way?

  7. Its so weird, thinkers do not participate in democratic process of elections to select proper representatives. • Uneducated class, organized on basis of caste, creed, region and religion, manipulated/ exploited with money and power, decides rulers of government. • And then one amongst us like Anna raises his voice which speaks our thoughts….and again thinkers start theorizing multiple options to change system…

  8. Be a part of change Lets Prepare for coming parliamentary Elections 2014 • Today we need new truly secular Democratic Party made by responsible Indians at national level surpassing regionalism. And we should elect right candidates in coming parliamentary polls to deliver justice, equality and transparency to masses in real sense.

  9. Together we can changeWhy do we need to enter into elections with A new Democratic Party? • Present situation of political crisis may bring change over of ruling party in coming elections..But will it really change/effect common man's life?.

  10. Join Hands to fight back If we take close look at regional assembly elections, people are always at dead end when it comes to voting. They either vote for party in alternate manner like in south India or prefer going with corrupt government by default considering side effects of communal/religional manifesto of other parties. They want change; they are looking out for new national cosmopolitan party and honest leaders representing common man, but alas, still they are waiting with no other option than to choose one amongst all existing corrupt parties or leaders. This is need of time, race against time, responsible and dutiful Indians should learn to come together for change without arguing on various issues, as we can bring no change till right people chosen by us sit in parliament in majority. Intellectuals and philosophers must imbibe quality of coming together under one flag like farmers, laborers or other organizations with cast, creed, region or religion background.

  11. Join Hands to fight back Post independent era has witnessed steady Downfall of common man's life . True picture of real India, mainly rural India is masked by • Technological advances available in few cities of India • Growth in telecommunication • Development of roads, railway tracks, facility of air travel • Development of India as a market for multinationals

  12. Join Hands to fight back • Industrialization driven ‘Population shift’ towards cities converted villages into unhealthy organized city slums. This poor man struggles hard even for day to day survival. Government has failed to provide • Drinking water • Health services Educational facility Economical justice(Employment etc….) Judiciary or Bureaucratic services to this class.

  13. ? • Educated middle class longs for settling abroad for decent jobs and better civilized societies, running away from chaos at home front. Sense of self and social responsibility, better sanitation, hygiene, easy access to judiciary, health, electricity, water, transport, electricity facilities, etc..lures him away from mother India • Are these demands are unrealistic? Impossible to meet? Or just part of day dreaming in present India?

  14. You can bring this change.. Join hands • Though system is corrupt, few men and women of integrity have proven their commitment and social responsibility without any doubt.

  15. Select and elect themWho can bring this change? • No serious criminal/ corruption charges against him • Not associated with any existing political party or politician • Selfless and transparent in his work • Understands importance of team work to build India • Strong and fearless • We should promote people of strong social character to lead us in electoral process • We must define right candidate/ leader as- • A person with integrity devoted to social cause for the last 5-10 years bringing noticeable change with his hard work

  16. So possible better future lies with Implementation of these reforms • Decentralization of ever growing sick cities • Rebuilding financially viable educated healthy independent village system

  17. These changes will not see day's light unless • Literate self sufficient middle class enters into political stream shouldering it as a social responsibility and duty. • Educated professionals from different segments of society emerge as policy makers for betterment of masses • Right people must get elected and control country's brain i. e. parliament

  18. We must realize, treating politics as ‘dirty field’, we have handed it over to wrong people who are forcing anarchy with money and muscle power. In fact we can make politics as a field to cater better services to large masses. • Presence of right people in political field will avoid exploitation of masses and manipulation of democracy • Our staying away from political stream resulted in today's democratic failure

  19. Apathy and indifference towards electoral system generated autocratic dynasties ill treating democratic India To rectify present crisis, we all must come forward without any excuse and controversy. We should develop platform to rebuild India with our contribution of skills and time. Instead of wasting our energy in criticizing existing corrupt system, we should propagate slow and sustained thought wave of change..for better India, future India

  20. Our system is based on constitution which has accepted democracy as part of ruling agency. This works through the wheels of electoral system. So let's be prepared to enter in the process of coming parliamentary polls • Only ‘right leaders’ in parliament, that to with majority can bring long awaited democratic changes.

  21. Strategy India has 543 parliamentary constituencies So new party needs 543 right candidates/ leaders to represent masses

  22. Strategy There is need of “ ONE PARTY ONE AGENDA ACROSS INDIA WITHOUT ANY COALITION"

  23. *Such selected candidate will have elaborated agreement, a legal document, towards people of constituency and party, outlining his duties and responsibility. • Breach of agreement will ensure legal action against elected leader and party will have right to recall him.

  24. Each constituency should have • one leader and minimum 500-1000 party members. This work should be ready within one and half year i.e. by December 2012 • Selected candidates should receive 3-6 months of necessary constitutional and beaurocratic training to be a better leader • Party will declare names of probable candidates (eligible as per norms given by election commission of India) a year in advance of coming polls.

  25. Right to information act will provide us voters list .We should target initially non voting population and newly added voters. • Overall voting in last parliamentary elections is around 50-55%. This indicates non voting class is unusually large and equal. Our main focus is to mobilize this class and newly added voters. This class can be motivated by honest and transparent ideology promoting right non-corrupt candidate.

  26. Time frame of one year and 100 subgroups of members(consisting 10 members in each group) will help us reaching masses and covering lager area of parliamentary constituency. • Each subgroup can work for 3-4 days. Man to man marking method and small group discussions will be key points in campaigning. So we should be able to generate 300-400 days of campaigning in each constituency.

  27. To minimize fund requirement we should avoid large posters/ banners, rallies or mega gatherings and ‘'throwing party’ culture • Multi level marketing techniques, theme behind chain reaction should be used to connect 'aware' people. One ignited mind should be given responsibility to ignite his friends and relatives. Small target will yield better success ratio. • We will gain national identity/ face in coming parliamentary polls and then we can face elections at gramsabha, panchayat, taluka or zilhaparishad level, enabling us to transform India at grass root level.

  28. We will create shadow parliament and ministries in case we do not win with majority to form government. This will ensure keeping check at every decision made by ruling party ministers compelling transparent administration. • We aim at taking "middle pathway" connecting best of socialism, capitalism and communism. Building organization around thoughts and idea will shade away side effects of making individual as a hero and worshipping him. • Balanced attitude to build new India with real sense of justice, equality and transparency will keep alive ' humane' part of our time proven civilization and day will not be far, our neighbors and others following same footsteps, globalizing and liberating long awaited peaceful reforms
