  3. How Does this Internship Rank??? • This is a GREAT place to do your internship. Not only do you get to stay in College Station but the experience that you were gain is invaluable. They give you tasks that would normally be given to someone who is full-time at any other university. You also get to have such a wide range of experience. From database management to working events and getting to interact with the fans—these are skills that you will be able to utilize at any of organization. Not to mention, this is a great atmosphere. There is no such thing as a stupid question and it is very team oriented. Everyone wants each other to succeed. I would highly recommend this department!

  4. Words of Wisdom… • Put your best foot forward, no matter what the task might be. • ALWAYS give 110% because you never know who might be watching you. • Be outgoing! It is a great place to network so take advantage of that. • Always have a smile on your face!!! • The customer is always right.

  5. Internship Objectives • Junior Aggie Club – As the supervisor for JAC I have daily duties that need to get done to make sure the program is being successful • Texas A&M Track and Field – At the beginning of the semester I was still very busy being marketing coordinator for the Track and Field team. This included writing scripts, being at track meets, etc. • Birthday Parties – This was my main project for the semester. I came up with a package, got it approved and started to market it! • Help fellow student workers – there are always events going on and people always need help. We are here to make people’s lives easier! • Radio Ads – whenever a sport would email me about promotions, I would write a Radio Ad and send it to Dave South to be recorded and broadcasted on the radio

  6. Daily Activities • Answer emails (both personal email for work as well as Junior Aggie Club) • Update the Database • Ask other sports what you can help with • Work events • Plan upcoming events • After an event, add it to the Wrap Up Report so future coordinators will have a record of what has already been done • Deliver posters, schedule cards, etc.

  7. Project Description • Birthday Parties • Come up with a “Birthday Party Package” for both baseball and softball • Meet with my supervisors to get the package approved • Email concessions and the ticket office to see if we can get any deals • Create a voucher for the concessions and ice cream that will be included in the package • Create graphics to be put on social media • Create a webpage to sign up for these birthday parties to make it easier for the payment to go through • Market this package to the Bryan/College Station community as well as our Junior Aggie Club members
