Fenept-Financial Coaching Having goals is fundamental to success in any personal, professional and academic area in your life.  We have variety of goals in our lives whether it is achieving a specific SAT score, getting into a college of our choice, starting a competitive sport, being able to lift heaver weights or being able to run a 5K. Similarly, we have professional goals of being able to land a job, be promoted within the job, buying a house, car or any personal items that we may wish to have in our lives. http://www.fenept.com/

Fenept-Financial Coaching DEBT & CREDIT Many people are not aware of the process of borrowing money from your 401k plan so I thought it would be good to share how easy and quick this process can be for those that may want to explore this avenue of accessing funds. If you are ever in the need of funds, one avenue to look to is your 401k plan.  Most plans have a limit on how much you can borrow – in my experience most of these plans have $50k as the limit.  You must be thinking that taking funds out of 401k involves paying a hefty fee – no that is not correct.  http://www.fenept.com/

Fenept-Financial Coaching FRUGALITY Ensure sufficient savings are in place prior to maternity leave.  Plan ahead and start saving well before pregnancy to avoid any stress caused by financials.  Depending on circumstances, plan for the worst-case scenario, meaning that one of you will have to stay at home after delivery for at least 1 year without pay (post maternity leave).  Costs for day care is very high for infants – it may make more sense depending on circumstances to stay home after delivery, rather than using day care. http://www.fenept.com/
