  1. DUA E NUDBA This Dua is one of the most important and famous Dua of Shia. Nudba means ‘lamentation’ and in this Dua, we are mourning And wailing on the ghaibat of our Imam (a.s), that he is hidden from us.

  2. DUA-E-NUDBA This Dua is to be recited on Fridays and on Eid days. During this Dua, by concentration, asking for forgiveness and reciting salawaat, we wash away our sins and remove the obstacles which are stopping the granting of our Dua’s.

  3. DUA-E-NUDBA Then with full attention, in a weeping state, we call our Imam (a.s) in the same way as our sixth Holy Imam (a.s.) used to do. We cry and recite Nudba on the Ghaibat and being far away from our Imam (a.s.).

  4. DUA-E-NUDBA We request Allah to hasten his reappearance and thus end the corruption and injustice in this world. May the Almighty Allah have mercy upon our Nudbas and weeping.

  5. الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعالَمِينْ Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  6. وَ صَلَّ اللهُ علَى سَيِّدِ نا مُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيِّهِ And blessings of Allah be upon our leader Muhammad, His Prophet MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  7. وَ آلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَسْلِيْمً and the Prophet’s Progeny with worthy greetings MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  9. أَللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى ماَ جَرَى O Allah! All Praise is for You for all matters MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  10. بِهِ قَضَآؤُكَ فِي أَوْلِيآئِكْ resolved in the matter regarding those close to You MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  11. الَّذِيْنَ اسْتَخْلَصْتَهُمْ لِنَفْسِكَ َ وَ دِيْنِكَ Those whom You have purified for yourself and Your Religion MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  12. إِذْ اخْتَرْتَ لَهُمْ جَزِيْلَ ماَ عِنْدَكَمِنَ النَّعِيمِ الْمُقِيْمْ Since You have willed to bestow on them the choicest of Your everlasting favors MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  13. الَّذِي لازَوَالَ لَهُ وَلا اضْمِحْلألَ Which neither diminish nor decrease MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  14. بَعْدَ أَنْ شَرَطْتَ عَلَيْهِمُ الزُّهْدَ after You took promise from them to renounce MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  15. فِي دَرَجَاتِ هاذِهِ دُّنْيا الدَّنِيَّة all stages of this contemptible world MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  16. وَ زُخْرُفِهَا وَ زِبْرِجِهَا and its superficial attractions and allurements MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  17. فَشَرَطُوا لَكَ ذاَلِكَ Indeed, they promised to do so. MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  18. وَعَلِمْتَ مِنْهُمُ الْوَفَآءَ بِهِ and You knew they would fulfill it MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  19. فَقَبِلْتَهُمْ وَقَرَّبْتَهُمْ So You accepted them and brought them near to You MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  20. وَقَدَّمْتَ لَهُمُ الذِّكْرَ الْعَلِيَّ sent the news of their auspicious arrival in advance MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  21. وَالثَّنآءَ الْجَلِيَّ and glowing praise MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  22. وَ أَهْبَطْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ مَلآئِكَتَكَ Fell down on the ground in prostration the angels before them MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  23. وَ كَرَّمْتَهُمْ بِوَحْيِكَ and honoured them by Your Revelation MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  24. وَ رَفَدْتَهُمْ بِعِلْمِكَ and gifted them with Your Knowledge MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  25. وَجَعَلْتَهُمُ الذَّرِيعَتَ اِلَيْكَ set them up as the medium to reach You MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  26. وَالْوَسِيْلَةَ اِلىَ رَضْوَانِكَ and a medium of acquiring Your Pleasure and Paradise MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  27. فَبَعْضٌ أَسْكَنْتَهُ جَنَّتَكَ Then You made some of them dwell in Your Garden MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  28. اِلَى أَنْ أخْرَجْتَهُ مِنْهَا until You sent Them out of it MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  29. وَ بَعْضٌ حَمَلْتَهُ فِي فُلْكِكَ وَنَجَّيْتَهَا and You carried one of them in Your Ark MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  30. وَمَنْ آمَنَ مَعَهُ مِنَ الْهَلَكَةِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ and rescued him and those who believed, from destruction by Your Mercy MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  31. وَبَعْضٌ أتَّخَذْتَهُ لِنَفْسِكَ خلِيلاً and You selected for Yourself one of them to be close to You MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  32. وَ سَأَلَكَ لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِي ألآخِرِيْنَ فَأَجَبْتَهُ and he requested You to appoint the truthful Prophet and his successor from his later generation, which You granted MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  33. وَجَعَلْتَ ذَالِكَ عَلِيً and hence You appointed them to elevated ranks MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  34. وَ بَعْضٌ كَلَّمْتَهُ مِنْ شَجَرَتٍ تَكْلِيْمًا and one of them You spoke to from a voice from a tree MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  35. وَجَعَلْتَ لَهُ مِنْ أَخِيْهِ رِدْءًا وَوَزِيْرً And appointed his brother as his supporter and helper MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  36. وَبَعْضٌ أَوْلَدْتَهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَبٍ وَآتَيْتَهُ ألْبَيِّنَاتِ And You brought into existence one of them without a father and You gave him clear signs MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  37. وَأَيَّدْتَهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ And supported him with the Holy Spirit MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  38. وَ كُلٌّّ شَرَعْتَ لَهُ شَرِيْعَتً And for each of them You gave a code of law MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  39. وَنَهَجْتَ لَهُ مِنْهَا جًا And You assigned a path for him MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  40. وَتَخَيَّرْتَ لَهُ أَوْصِيآءَ And You selected successors for him MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  41. مُسْتَحْفِظًا بَعْدَ مْسْتَحْفِظٍ Who successively protected the code of law MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  42. مِنْ مُدَّةٍ اِلى مُدَّةٍ اِقَامَةً لِدِيْنِكَ and upheld Your religion from time to time MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  43. وَ حُجَّةً عَلَى عِبَادِكَ And presented Your message to Your creatures, MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  44. وَلِئَلأَّ يَزُولَ الْحَقُّ عَنْ مَقَرِّهِ lest the truth should deviate from its place MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  45. وَيَغْلِبَ الْبَاطِلُ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ and falsehood prevail upon the Truth MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  46. وَلاَيَقُولَ أَحَدٌ لَوْلاَ أَرْسَلْتَ and no one could then say “Why didn’t You send MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  47. اِلَيْنَا رَسُولاً مُنْذِرًا us a messenger to warn us MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  48. وَ أَقَمْتَ لَنَا عَلَمًا هَادِيًا and guide us so that we may follow Your guidance MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  49. فَنَتَّبِعَ آيَاتِكَ مِنْ قَبْلِ أنْ نَذِلَّ وَنَخْزىَ before we suffered disgrace and disrepute ?” MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM

  50. إِلى أَنِ انْتَهَيْتَ بِاالأَمْرِ إِلىَ حَبِيْبِكَ وَنَجِيْبِكَ مُحَمَّدٍ Then You made plans to bring out the wonderful advent of Muhammad MEDIA ROOM PRODUCTION KSIJ DSM
