Methodology review 6 December 2012 2 | Energy Networks Association – DCMF • DNOs have licence obligations to review their charging methodologies • CDCM is being reviewed through both DCUSA change proposals and through the Methodology Issues Group • EDCM for demand was implemented in April 2012 • Six issues are being progressed through the Methodologies Issues Group • EDCM for generation (combined model) due to be implemented in April 2013 • One issue with the O&M rate has been raised for progression at this time

Methodology change process • CDCM and EDCM are embedded into DCUSA as Schedule 16, 17 & 18 which includes reference to the model versions • Combined model for EDCM due into DCUSA Q1 2013 • Changes to DCUSA can be proposed by any party and are voted on by those DCUSA parties affected by the change • Proposed changes need to follow section 1C of DCUSA • DCMF provides avenue for discussion of perceived issues and new ideas and how these can be developed • MIG established to discuss issues and new ideas in more detail and to develop firm proposals for submission into the DCUSA process 6 December 2012 4 | Energy Networks Association – DCMF
Raising methodology issues 6 December 2012 5 | Energy Networks Association – DCMF • DNOs meet monthly through Methodologies Issues Group and raise issues as required • Bi-monthly the DCMF also provides opportunities for issues to be raised • During the February 2013 DCMF we will provide an opportunity for stakeholders to discuss any issues that they want to understand in more detail • Stakeholders should contact dcmf@electralink.co.uk with any issues that you would like to discuss or understand at the February DCMF • The February DCMF will constitute the ‘Annual review’
