  7. Data Driven • In ASD, every 1% gain means approximately 680 more students reach proficiency. • For example, from 2004-2012 in science, math and language arts…

  8. ASD Science Scores • 2004 – 68.2% • 2005 – 70.3% • 2006 – 72.6% • 2007 – 72.7% • 2008 – 73.8% • 2009 – 75.7% • 2010 – 77.8% • 2011 – 78.8% • 2012 – 81.5% *13.3% increase, which means 9,044 more students reached proficiency!

  9. ASD Math Scores • 2004 – 75% • 2005 – 76.4% • 2006 – 78.5% • 2007 – 77.3% • 2008 – 79.1% • 2009 – 75.1% • 2010 – 76.5% • 2011 – 79.6% • 2012 – 80.6% *5.6% increase, which means 3,808 more students reached proficiency! (Even without taking into account the “resetting” of cut scores in 2009.)
