  25. Javi Reyes ‘14 “Over the past two years, LMU has encouraged me to push myself beyond my comfort zone, inside and outside the classroom. When I first became a Lion, I realized that the remainder of my collegiate experience would be completely what I made of it, so I challenged myself early on to meet new people by joining on-campus organizations. I soon became an active member of a handful organizations I felt strongly about, found myself inspired to work hard and make their voices resonate more clearly across campus. Not too soon after I was involved in various leadership positions, including Co-President of the Salsa Club as well as President of the Latino Business Student Association (LBSA). As a leader, I’ve learned to take risks and how to successfully lead others -- not necessarily by taking control of the reins, but by pushing others towards greatness from behind.”
