“Geodemographics is the description of people according to where they live, derived from the study of spatial information” (Census and geodemographics group of the MRS)
"Geodemographics are sometimes referred to as neighbourhood classifications. They provide a summary of a broad range of characteristics about those people who live within these neighbourhoods” (Output Area classification User Group)
