Conference Theme - Federal Collaboration and SOA • U.S. government agencies need enabling services that: • reduce complexity in their business processes • streamline their technical profile • address their security issues. • Topics on collaboration in a services environment you will hear over the next two days: • Transitioning with the new Federal administration • Human aspects of collaborating in a shared services environment • Success stories and lessons learned

An Opportunity for Collaboration • The Conference is designed for collaboration: • Cross agency collaboration • Collaboration with industry • Collaboration with MITRE in its FFRDC role • Designed with 2 hours lunch/networking time each day • MITRE is also facilitating two separate SOA-related communities of practice to meet concurrent with conference attendance: • Spacial Ontology • Semantic Exchange • These sessions will take place during the 2 hour lunch/networking breaks
