Do “The Work” on negative beliefs Ask 4 Questions and some turn arounds… 0 Formulate your belief in a single sentence like a judgment: “He shouldn’t have ignored me” 1 Is it true? 2 Can I absolutely know for sure it is true? 3 How do you react when you believe that thought? 4 Who would I be without that thought? Make Turn-arounds: I shouldn’t have ignored him / I shouldn’t have ignored me / I should have ignored me / He should have ignored me / etc
