  1. What Is A Customs Broker? The customs broker is a highly-trained import professional. Licensed by the U.S. Customs & Border Protection, the customs broker must possess a thorough knowledge of Customs Regulations and the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule. The customs broker must keep abreast of the constant changes in the law and regulations that govern imports into the U.S.
