  1. Survey Monkey Results Created By: Nia Rasshan Period 2 Mr. Yamato April 8, 2013

  2. Introduction My Period 2 teacher Mr. Yamato ask all of his Technology Proficient classes to create a Survey Monkey account. Our assignment was to create a 5 question survey. After the surveys were completed we had to email a link to Mr. Yamato and he put the link on the class website. Our nest assignment was to answer all of the surveys from his Tech classes. From there we logged into our accounts and looked at our results. Then we were given 2 more assignments. 1. To write a report based on our results. 2. To create a PowerPoint based on our results.

  3. Question 1 For my first question I asked “What is your favorite type of music?” I gave the options of Rock, Rap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and R&B. I got 66 responses and no one skipped the question. I think that a lot of people only listen to certain types of music and they don’t try new genres they just stick with the familiar.

  4. Question 2 For my second question I asked “What is your favorite singer or band and favorite song?” For this question I didn’t give any options you had to write your own response. So your this question I got all sorts of answers so I think people really answered the question truthfully. Here are just some of the responses

  5. Question 3 For my third question I asked “Who is your favorite actor or actress?” For this question I also let them write their own responses so, I still got truthful answers because the had to think. Here are just some of the responses

  6. Question 4 For my fourth question I asked “Who is your favorite celebrity?” I gave the options of Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, Usher, Mindless Behavior, and Justin Timberlake. Based on my results I put people who are well-known and liked, well-known and dislikes, and not well-known at all. For this question I think people had to choose carefully and pick the people who they known or have heard of before.

  7. Question 5 For my fifth question I ask “What are your favorite brand of shoes” I gave to options of Van, Toms, Converse, Nike’s, and Jordan’s. I think lots of people put Vans because almost everyone has a pair of Vans and I also think mostly girls put Toms. The rest were the brand of shoes they wear the most.

  8. Conclusion My conclusion for my results is that in high school most people don’t know what they like yet but other are pretty sure. Maybe you stick with the things you loved in middle school or maybe you find a friend and look to them for what you should love. I believe that it all depends on the type of person you are. Are you a Follower of a Leader?? I know that some people only like something because someone else likes it or it will make you e called gay for listening to Justin Bieber. Personally I think that I am both. I still don’t like something for someone else but sometimes I try new thing that I get from my friends. All I am saying is to be yourself but don’t shut out the suggestions.
