What Regular Car Maintenance Schedule is Listed In Your Owner’s Manual? • Every 3,000 to 7,000 Miles – These Schedule for Changing the oil and filter is suggested by the car manufacturer, reliant on the type of vehicle and the kind of oil used. Inspection of the transmission fluid level, coolant, power steering fluid, windshield washer fluid and wipers, tires and all exterior lights is done at the same time. • Every 15,000 to 30,000 Miles – Most vehicle manufacturers recommend changing the air filter every 15k miles. The coolant and car battery should be inspected every 20k miles. The oil should be changed around 25k miles. Every 30K miles, change the air filter and power steering fluid and check the radiator hoses, coolant, HVAC system, brake pads and all other vehicle suspension components. • Every 35,000 to 50,000 Miles – The car battery should be checked every 35,000 miles, and changed if compulsory. Every 40,000 miles change the spark plugs and spark plug wires, and inspect the ignition system and suspension. • Every 60,000 Miles -- Replace brake pads and brake fluid, radiator hoses, coolant, power steering fluid and timing belt.
