  1. How to use coronavirus lockdown time to prepare for UPSC Prelims 2020? The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) prelims is the country’s highly sought after exam that draws nearly seven lakh aspirants on an average every year. And this year, 10 lakh (approximately) students have registered for this prestigious examination but their preparations have been hampered by the uncertainty due to COVID – 19 lockdown. This lockdown being an optimist think as a blessing in disguise especially for those aspirants who were scoring less than 85 marks in Full Mock Tests Series for this prosperous exam preparation. There are certain strategies which if adopted by the aspirants can be the most effective use of this COVID – 19 lockdown for UPSC Prelims examination 2020 because due to this lockdown that has affected the mental health of IAS aspirants and disturbing their study schedule by creating uncertainty about the Prelims 2020 exam and most importantly affected the concentration of aspirant who now have to indulge in other household activities apart from their preliminary exam preparation. So, there are many efficient strategies which will helpful to the aspirants; as follows – Firstly, Mock Tests series: This is one of the best barometer for the preparation of the UPSC aspirant because from the Full Mock Tests aspirants can analyse their strengthen and weak areas where they are making mistakes and this will be a closed loop system too where aspirants feedback will help in improving their knowledge of their syllabus which will result in higher scores in Mock Tests. So, each and every aspirant must give at least 1 Full Mock Test once in a week and try to score more than 125 marks in these tests if the aspirants have want to be well

For this, there are various online sources which provides best materials to their aspirants as - Current Affairs PDFs (daily/monthly etc.) and static PDFs freely that are available on the internet and can be downloaded easily must be read by the aspirants of UPSC Preliminary examination. Furthermore, every student have a proper schedule and determined targets to achieve this prestigious job because without consistency in both, lockdown may affect aspirants mental health and the studies too and may become boredom which is definitely not good for your Preliminary examination. As we can understand that all the aspirants must be going through various hardships due to this COVID - 19Outbreak but as future civil servants, aspirants are expected to overcome these hardships and find solutions of these problems instead of cribbing about the lack of notes or reading facilities and so on. There are various online platforms which provide more than enough free study material and courses which will help you to continue the studies without any disturbance.
