Three Lines of Contact • ¼-20 tapped holes on 1” centers • Flat , Black Anodized Aluminum, ½” Thick • All model include 5 countersink mounting holes for single post mount. • ½” boarder allows stacking side by side while maintaining a 1” hole spacing • Custom sizes available on request Base Optics post holders have been designed using a stable 3-line contact design that both centers and holds posts. The quick lock cam system makes for unbelievably fast setting of post height. A much stronger contact is gained when compared to thumb screw systems due to a much greater lever arm to apply force. 3/16”-127 Threaded Screws Post – Post Holder Height Base Optics offers these indispensable, solid aluminum breadboards as a fundamental component of an photonics lab. Unlike other companies breadboards, we offer the 5th countersink mounting hole (For standard ¼”-20 cap screws) in the center of all models. Don’t see what you want? Call for a quote on a custom breadboard. No extra design fees for custom breadboards. When using the post in a post holder with base configuration, be sure to account for the 5/8” offset. PST series stainless steel Ø1/2” posts are precision ground to Ø1/2” . One end is tapped 8-32 and the other 1/4-20. Each post is supplied with an 8-32 set screw. A 1/4” cross-drilled hole is provided to aid in tightening and loosening the post. 3/16”-200 Threaded Screws * We use at least 1” of post in the Post Holder for maximum height. On PH010 we allow only 1/2” for the max calculation. All calculations include one of our 0.38” bases. MADE IN THE USA
