2. A KN95 mask is a widely-used, short-listed name for a KN95 particulate filter respirator, that meets the FDA China and EUA China standards. China is one of the largest KN95 producers in the world. The Chinese government conducts extensive clinical trials for these KN95 respirators. Since the outbreak of Noble Coronavirus, FDA China and EUA China began conducting clinical trials for the development and improvements in several respiratory products, including KN95 masks. KN95 masks serve their purpose in a variety of situations, including protection from allergies and protection from particulates. Although these masks have many benefits, they also have some drawbacks. Because of these masks' shortcomings, EUA China is continually conducting clinical trials to determine whether the need for further improvements exists or not.

Currently, there are three main types: disposable, air-purifying, and anti-microbial. Each type has different specifications, so KN95 filters are made in different sizes to fit different users. Also, some KN95 masks have both filters available in the same model. This is especially convenient for those who frequently use the same KN95 filter, as the system only needs to be changed when one type is no longer being used. Disposable masks have the advantages of being relatively easy and quick to put on and take off, but they generally lack other important features such as moisture and odor-blocking capabilities. The design of these air-purifying masks offers protection against micropollutants and they also remove harmful allergens, irritants, and dust particles from the breathing airflow.

In fact, many health professionals discourage the use of air-purifying or other respiratory aids if there is a history of respiratory infections or allergies. If a mask provides adequate protection for the wearer, then it can be beneficial for individuals with respiratory conditions that do not respond to standard therapies.
