  2. Laszlo Biro invented the ball point pen. He was born on September 29, 1899 and he died on October 29, 1985.

  3. The successful version of the ballpoint pen was invented in 1940 and it was patented on June 10, 1943, in Argentina.

  4. Ball point pen The ball point pen is a long cylinder about 6 inches long about 0.5inches wide with a ball on it’s tip. The cylinder is full of ink. The ball regulates the flow of ink to the tip .The pen is used to write and draw on paper.

  5. Ball Point Pen • As a journalist Laszlo Biro was irritated with the coarse and sticky ink of the fountain pen. Writing could now be neater and more legible. The ball point pen could be carried and did not require filling up with ink. The ball point pen made writing easier and faster.

  6. Ball Point Pen • There are many styles of ball point pens today. There are many different colors of ink to choose from . The pen is made of different types of materials , such as steel , plastic and aluminum.
