  3. Goals • Connect Jobseekers to Jobs (250,000 jobs) • Support the Development of a Highly Skilled Labor Force in Wisconsin • Achieve Unemployment Insurance Solvency & Increase Program Integrity • Deliver DWD Services More Efficiently & Support Increased Transparency & Accountability

Goal 1 Connect Jobseekers to Jobs (250,000 jobs) Strategies • Promote www.jobcenterofwisconsin.com & DWD job services • Connect unemployment insurance claimants to employment & training services • Empower individuals with disabilities resulting in barriers to employment to become economically self-sufficient

Goal 2 Support the Development of a Highly Skilled Labor Force in Wisconsin Strategies • Engage & support Governor’s Council on Workforce Investment (CWI) • Support identification of a pool of additional discretionary funding for development of Wisconsin’s workforce • Coordinate & align workforce development programs with public & private sector partners, including Workforce Development Boards • Focus resources on key sectors where there is high growth & high need for workers

Goal 3 Achieve Unemployment Insurance Solvency & Increase Program Integrity Strategies • Improve solvency of Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund by engaging Unemployment Insurance Advisory Council (UIAC) • Increase Unemployment Insurance Program’s Efficiency & Cost Effectiveness • Enhance the Unemployment Insurance Program's Integrity

Goal 4 Deliver DWD Services More Efficiently & Support Increased Transparency & Accountability Strategies • Continuously identify and implement strategies to deliver programs and services more efficiently • Improve funding and efficiency of the Equal Rights (ERD) and Worker’s Compensation (WC) programs • Measure results to allow for informed decision making on resource allocations • Enhance efficiencies by implementing high priority IT projects
