  1. BIRTH CONTROL PILL • Also known as oral contraceptives, the pill is a hormonal mix of estrogen and other hormones. • If taken correctly every day, 8 out of 100 women will get pregnant each year….It is moderately affective

  2. PATCH • The patch is a thin cloth thing that attaches to the skin and releases estrogen and progesterone. • It prevents the egg from being fertilized. 8 out of 100 women who use the patch will get pregnant making it moderately effective.

  3. PELVIC INFLAMMATORY DISEASE • Caused by sexual contact without protection, causing the uterus to be lined with the disease. • It is known to be very painful and difficult to deal with.

  4. PUBIC LICE • Live in the pubic hair areas. Spread though sexual contact. • Can be contracted from contact with an infected person, on toilet seats, blankets, and on bathing suits being sold at a store, for example. • It can be asymptomatic.

  5. TRICHOMONIASIS • Worldwide parasite inside the sexual organs. • Symptoms for women include discomfort with intercourse, itching between thighs, and, for men, burning after urination and ejaculation.
