This document outlines the translation activities led by Marc Provencher, P.Eng., aimed at enhancing IEEE membership in French-speaking regions of Canada, particularly Quebec. Since 1997, the initiative has translated important technical and non-technical documents into French to support local members’ needs, thereby promoting inclusivity within the IEEE community. The activities include publishing bilingual documents and collaborating with international groups. Future efforts will focus on translating materials for students and increasing French publications in the Canadian Review.
