  3. Antonio de Padua María Severino López de Santa Anna y Pérez de Lebrón • Santa Anna true name is really Antonio de Padua Maria Severino Lopez de Santa Anna y Pérez de Lebrón. but is known as Santa Anna or Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna. • Santa Anna was Born in February 21 1794, Jalapa, Veracruz.

  4. Santa Anna's childhood • Santa anna was the son of a wealthy Spanish colonial family. At an early age, Santa Anna showed no interest in school or working in the lucrative mercantile industry. When Santa Anna turned 16, he dropped out of the mercantile business and joined the Vera Cruz Infantry regiment.He soon realized this was his true passion. At an early age Santa Anna was sent to action in the 1810 Mexican Revolution. Before long, Santa Anna was assigned to a Calvary unit which was known for brutal charges, risk taking, and the execution of all prisoners. This early training would leave a lasting impression on Santa Anna and he essentially followed these same military tactics throughout his career.

By 1822, Santa Anna was promoted to brigadier general and made commander of the Vera Cruz province. Wellno one other then the fourteen year-old girl name Maria Ines de la Paz Garcia who got him to pay for a 15 hundred $ dollars cattle-raising hacienda near Veracruz. They where vary totogether. Then after a few years santa anna became Vice-Governor of Veracruz; Mangade Clavo.

  9. How he became President • September 1st, 1832, santa anna became México's first president. Its not the way it looks that tells you everything about santa anna becoming president of México. santa don’t really want to be president, but the people of México made him do it. he became President of Mexico 11 non-consecutive times over 22 years. A new world record in times ectoderm.
