Our daily schedule and important changes are outlined for your reference. Don't forget to engage in the Everyday Math Program and be part of our fun learning activities!   5. Everyday Math Program • *HW requires your assistance. • *Play games that are sent home. • *Always practice basic addition and subtraction facts. • *Memorize combinations for 10.

  6. Important Changes *Math: We will NOT go lesson by lesson. We will be skipping around, looking for mastery in basic skills. *ELA: Spelling tests will be on Friday along with high frequency word test. Focus skill test will be a different day.

  12. Lunch Money • Please put lunch or snack money in a baggie or an envelope with your child’s name, Room 114 and Kenny/Reardon .

  13. Classroom Temperature • Sometimes the classroom feels chilly. You may keep a sweater or sweatshirt in your child’s backpack.

  15. Learn Some Reading Shortcuts Stuck on a word? • Pay attention to beginning and ending sounds. • Cover chunks at the end. • Look for smaller words. • Use picture clues. • Skip the word and read on for clues, then test your choice.
