3. Introduction • North Shore Middle School is in the midst of a terrible war. • NSMS is looking for Engineer’s to design, draw, and produce working catapults to launch into Catapult City. • Can you learn how and why a catapult works and use that knowledge to construct and utilize one?

5. To Complete this Project you will… • Develop a design portfolio that encompasses all the research you have gathered. • Complete the activity sheet on Sir Isaac Newton. • Develop plans for a small scale catapult. • Construct the catapult in the lab. • Evaluate the effectiveness of your catapult.
