  2. How to obtain financial support? • Possibilties of getting financial support for regeneration purposes • Regional Operational Program (ROP) – EU funds from EFRD • donation from Heritage Protection Office – but only for historical buildings

  3. How to obtain financial support? • Possibilties of getting financial support for regeneration purposes • donation from The National (or Regional) Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management – only if connected with environmental protection (ex. changing roof from eternite) • donation or loan from Swiss financial mechanisms (environmental protection/ urban planning)

  4. ROP – Example of North Praga District, Warsaw • Local Regeneration Program – necessary condition for obtaining money from ROP,which indicates how and on what purposes EU funds from EFRD should be distributed within region

  5. How to include project in Local Regeneration Program? • First step • Check if regeneration project is localized within “crisis area” • Unemployment, • Poverty, • Living conditions, • Crime, • Local entrepreneurship, • Degraded infrastructure and housing, • Pollution

  6. How to include project in Local Regeneration Program? • Second step • Applicant should contact with the District Coordinator for Regeneration • Coordinator gives further instruction about correct preparation of project application form

  7. How to include project in Local Regeneration Program? • Third step • Preparationof a project application form available in City Council • Fourth step • Project should be consulted with other inhabitants in order to know their opinion about the project

  8. How to include project in Local Regeneration Program? • Fifth step • Hand in Coordinator the application form with enclosed results of consultations • Sixth step • Enclose project into “District Regeneration Micro-program”, which is a part of Local Regeneration Program

How to include project in Local Regeneration Program? • Sixth step • Approval of “District Regeneration Micro-program” by the District Council and the Monitoring Committee for Regeneration • Approval of Local Regeneration Program by City Council • Local Regeneration Program is actualized once a year
