Mesenchymal NeoplasmsMalignant Sarcomas • MICROSCOPIC FEATURES • Cells are arranged in sheets each cell separated by stroma specific to tissue • BV are confined to stroma and more numerous than carcinomas • Malignant criteria • According to degree of similarity to original: Well – Moderate –poorly differentiated (or Grades 1-3). undifferentiated tumours bear no resemblance at all: spindle /round cell or giant cell sarcomas
